Fire Crew Visit
​
Every year we have a visit from a local RFS NSW fire unit. The children meet the crew, learn about fire safety at home and how to protect themselves in an emergency. Of course everyone's favourite part is getting on board the fire truck and playing with the equipment! It's always an exciting day.
Eye Check
​
Once a year we provide a free eye check for all children at our centre.
Music
​
Our close ties with Asquith Public school provide many benefits for the children at our centre, including visits from the school band during the school term. The children at the centre enjoy interacting with the older children and hearing about school life. Band performances complement our centre music program which we run all year.
School Readiness Program
​
Every year we prepare pre-school aged children for the transition to school through our School Readiness Program. The program helps children to become familiar with school routine. The Deputy Principal and Kindergarten teachers at Asquith Public School meet our children and provide information for parents during term four to help with the transition.
